I heard good things about this place, so I decided to check it out. Despite not having a reservation, we were seated immediately, which was nice. So the food…I doubled down on the chicken and my decision did not disappoint! The best wings and chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. The wings had a combo of like three main flavors that all came together perfectly. The fried chicken is soaked in a brine for 24 hours, which becomes obvious the second you bite into it. Most succulent! Colonel Sanders ain’t got nothin’ on The Nest’s 11 herbs and spices. I have to admit, this isn’t the kind of place that you would expect to serve such things, but their menu is an eclectic mix of comfort food and fancy entrees, such as short rib, which I didn’t try, but it looked amazing. Who’s sharing a bite of that anyway? Nobody. To top off the evening, the service was fantastic from beginning to end.
