SC Cafe & Kid City Entrance

I was so happy to find this place on our way home from a long road trip. It made the perfect rest stop where the kids could run and play endlessly on the playscape while the adults enjoyed the quiet cafe with tasty coffee drinks. What a great place for the local community to enjoy.
It is inside a church, but there’s a big SC Cafe sign on the building letting you know you’re in the right place. Ample parking available.
The indoor playground was recently remodeled and reopened at the end of 2024. It is in great condition and HUGE! There is lots of space for the kids to run and climb and play, and lots of obstacles to explore. The playground is enclosed with glass walls, so the happy screams of the children are contained in the playground area. And it is FREE to play, no charge for the playground.
The coffee shop is relaxing, with a nice atmosphere. There’s a big screen with worship music going in the background. The staff is very kind and accommodating. We had a few special requests, and they went out of their way to help us. The dark chocolate mocha tasted great, and they had a non dairy option for the milk (nut pods). And the drinks were very reasonably priced, which was another plus.
If we lived in Shreveport, we would definitely visit here often! We will return again next time we pass through. It is worth a stop, especially if you have kids!
