Dakota Zoo offers an exciting and safe environment with Science Lab, Splash Pad, Soft Play. A great place for kids and families. Families love visiting for its fun-filled experience.
I brought my daughter and mother here over labor day weekend and it was so cool! It’s a much larger zoo than a person would think right in the middle of Bismarck. We had a lot of fun exploring the grounds and feeding the animals. They’ve got a good variety of animals from large elk to small reptiles and even a cute monarch butterfly hatchery, as well as some a little more exotic like African penguins, tigers, and even bears. My favorite animal is the otter and they even had those!
The grounds were well kept and clean, no litter anywhere that I saw and most importantly none in the habitats.
We will definitely be returning!
