A Place For Kids

We sent our son here for a year when he turned 4. He had a rough time with it at first, and would cry every time we left him because he wasn’t used to being away from home. It was hard for us too! But the staff was so warm and comforting, it made it much easier knowing he was in good hands. Eventually the crying stopped and it even got to the point that he wouldn’t want to leave when I came to pick him up because he was having so much fun. He loved his teachers, he learned a lot, and he made lots of friends. Another reason we loved APFK is their effort in accommodating his food sensitivities. I offered to bring his own food because trying to feed a kid that can’t have corn, dairy or gluten can be tricky but the owner assured me that they could accommodate him, and they did! They made him his own gluten-free blueberry muffins. They even found some gluten-free things at the store that I hadn’t seen before. Also, when he developed a fragrance sensitivity they took the air freshener out of the kid’s closet, no questions asked. I would highly recommend APFK to anyone looking for a quality daycare. I was in tears on his last day because I was so sad his time there was over. I wish we would’ve found them sooner!
