It was a heartbreaking day for me when I found out that this childhood gem of mine in Square One had shut down. When I found out it had reopened in Brampton, I had mixed feelings. I am not happy it has moved to Brampton but at least it still exists. I have to say though, it doesn’t come close to the original glory of the square one location as it lacks the outdoor attractions that the original had. A rope course and a bowling alley are offered instead of the batting cages, mini golf and awesome go-kart track. I was sad to see the formula one game featuring the full car bodies did not make the cut here, although they were very space-consuming to be fair. Even so, there are many games available to play. We opted for the time play which proved to be great value, if we had to spend credits for all the games we played we would have spent a lot more. The prize shops usually don’t really have anything of value unless you have saved up a large number of tickets from several visits overtime, so it’s better value to get time play in my opinion. It allows you to continue playing your favourite games no matter how many times you die. The ticket-oriented games near the front aren’t as fun in my opinion. This is a more child-oriented place but if you’re an arcade lover like me you’ll have a good time, especially if you get to go when it’s less busy.
