Loved it! This is my favorite park in the City of Toronto. Downtown Toronto’s only public water access (Ontario Place) is being leased to a private foreign corporation for 95 years. Toronto’s only other water access, the Natrel Pond, where you used to be able to rent canoes for paddling, etc., has also been filled in. So now Love Park is home to our last remaining public recreational water access that is accessible. I have a back injury and my doctors suggested water-walking which has greatly helped me in spinal rehab., so I try to walk-on-water 2 or 3 times a week, and Love Park is the last remaining place that’s easy to access recreational water. The giant heart-shaped fountain is big enough for the purpose. And what’s there to not love about being inside a ball in a heart-shaped fountain surrounded by weeping willow trees.
