A true gem in the Valley that offers natives and visitors a chance to view local talent that rivals anything offered in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, professional stock, and yes, possibly even New York. I’m puzzled by the one star reviews, which seem based on petty complaints that have nothing to do with the performances. One patron was confused about which production he bought tickets to view. Our Playhouse has three, count them three, stages! Thank goodness they are few and far between. Don’t like the seats? You are more than welcome to donate cash for new ones. The arts are struggling everywhere, but it is vital that we care for this cultural diamond like a baby robin who has fallen from the nest. Yes, it’s that important to this city and its people who have taken it on the chin countless times yet continue to bounce back. I’m proud to share my love for live theatre with my granddaughters. I hope our Playhouse is thriving when they are grandparents themselves!
