Treehouse Toys

A fixture of downtown Portsmouth. I can’t remember if it’s the same name over the decades, but, I’ve always found it to be a pleasant little store with an old time charm. My first visit as a kid, I remember walking to school, uphill, both ways, err, sorry wrong memory. I remember a tiny tightrope with a small bicycle moving back and forth on it.
Now, stuffed animals, novelty, educational and development toys. Playmobil, Sesame Street and a few other name brands. Staff was friendly.
I found gifts for my son and my daughter, who at first didn’t want to go in. She found a book she wanted. She’s picky!
Facemasks required and only six customers at a time. Store is small and a little crampt, but, space is at a premium in a city ️ that has regulations that try to maintain its historical look.
I recommend a visit!
