Sometimes I think I spend more time here than at home. I attended a trial day when The Nestling Collective first opened last year and decided to purchase a monthly membership, just for the Summer. The more time I spent there, the more I knew I couldn’t let it go. There are so many things I love about this space.
It feels like hanging out in your best friend’s living room. It’s a
big open space with comfortable seating, and play stations interspersed around the room.
The regulars are wonderful people. We don’t have family in town, but I’ve created a little community and traded numbers with many people I met at The Nest. Every time you walk in there is a friendly face waiting to say hello.
And speaking of friendly faces…the owner and staff are incredible. They’re moms too, and it’s obvious from the level of thought and care they put into this space. They’re constantly cleaning, organizing, planning activities.
Have I mentioned the activities? There is something new to do every day. I do pretty OK with planning kid activities but they take it to the next level with creative sensory bins and tactile activities.
