My daughter and I had a blast at the River Prairie Splash Pad in Altoona, WI today! We walked over here from our nearby hotel (Staybridge Suites Eau Claire)—she played in the water, while I observed in a nearby chair in the shade.
Tip—Check “Altoona Parks and Recreation” Facebook page for updated hours. (Google’s hours might be off). Also, if you drive by and the water appears off, it might just need you to activate it by touching the orange sensor on the ground.
