Playground
Playground offers an exciting and safe environment with Trampoline Park, Climbing Wall, Science Lab. A great place for kids and families. Families love visiting for its fun-filled experience.
There are actually 3 playgrounds in Freestone. All three are well-shaded and have picnic tables/ benches nearby.
One is big and blue colored (which Google Maps labeled as playground, and it’s right by the main parking lot/ trailead). This blue one has one or two slides. It also has a ninja style monkey bar that moves when you grab onto it and a monkey bar climbing structure, and a “rock climbing-esq” walls with holes (looked iffy since at one point you are on the wall and you are quick high up the ground).
The second one is medium sized and yellow. This one is my favorite since it has more slides. I think there were at least 6 slides. I think the only way to get to the tall slides was that ring ladder; wish there was more way to ascend up. Slides are fun, and one of them looked scary and steep, but was a blast.
The third and final one is super tiny and designed for the little kiddos. The slides are tinier and shorter, and it’s a very cute area. You can find it in the soccer field area.
