Pattison State Park
Pattison State Park offers an exciting and safe environment with Music & Dance, STEM Activities, Zipline. A great place for kids and families. Families love visiting for its fun-filled experience.
Beautiful area for hiking, picnicking, and camping. The hiking trails are well maintained. Some are a bit more strenuous than others making for a decent workout. Some of them have nice, easy, gravel paths. They gave out maps at the ranger station that had good descriptions of the trails. Campsites are spacious but maintain shade. Our only issue was that the bathrooms in the campsite were often grungy even after they were cleaned in the morning. Bring water shoes or flip flops to shower in. The beach was nice with plenty of sandy area and a large grassy hill with benches. They had an 80th birthday party for Smokey when we were there. It was super cute with cupcakes and lemonade, games, and a visit from Smokey. We even managed to catch the northern lights. The kids loved it here. We would definitely come back.
