The North American Bison Discovery Center is an awesome place to visit. It’s a great place to learn more about the history of buffalo/bison in this country. There are so many people who have worked hard to stabilize the buffalo/bison population. At one time, there were barely 400 left in the U.S.; now there are over 400,000, including some that are on the free range in parks such as Yellowstone. I, for one, am thankful for museums such as this one that serves to educate people and help us to understand the work involved in caring for these animals and maintaining their numbers.
