One of our favorite summer parks.
So our first trip here we only lasted about 30 minutes here and didn’t see ourselves coming back. It was our first time and our son was overwhelmed with all of the new stuff. Add that on top of being I’ll prepared for this park and it being 90 outside. Needless to say we came back a few weeks later with our own chairs and some snacks and drinks. We stayed for almost 4 hours and it became one we put into our loop of parks we go to weekly. There is a nice small shaded area about 60 feet from the entrance to the park (there is only 1 entrance/exit) the shaded area has electricity hook ups, picnic tables, garbages, and plenty of shade for those sunny days. Right off of the park there is a trail that goes through a nice wooded area if your kids are into that. There is a men’s and women’s bathroom as well as a family restroom. This is also a very handicap friendly park that has 1 of only 20 of the wheel chair Swings in the US. There is a small reading area for kids and or parents, a young kid area as well as a big kid area. Parking is kind of small but I have never had to park in the overflow down the road.
