Grew up here when it was Hooker Park. I knew Mister Roberts and remember when he passed. Glad it was renamed after someone who lived closed.
Somewhere in this park should mention Mr. Perry and Mister Doyle. Both lived nearby and spent hours and years as Pop Warner Coaches. All three men left impressions on many of us.
