The Highlands subdivision is on both sides of Hwy 50. Both sides each have a small park and play area for children. Both are really nice. There is a playground setup for the kids, completely enclosed by a fence. However, the gates that formerly were parts of the fence are now missing. These would be the gates to enter and exit the play area. It would be the perfect place to take small children if the gates would be replaced. There is a single covered picnic area with a nice picnic table right by the children’s play area. There is even a nice mountain view.
