The old Fairmount lodge area was turned into a splash pad. Easy access and wheelchair accessible port-a-potty available. It is a Decent size area for a lot of people to enjoy and ample, close parking and a nice shaded picnic area. All of this is a short walk over from the playground. The only downside to this area is the winding road you have to take to get there. It’s always full of potholes.
