Fairbourne is great! It’s not a splash pad, but a long shallow river with boulders of different sizes to climb on. A few bridges over the river. *No dogs allowed near the river*. My 2 and 5 year old played here for 4 hours today! The water is REALLY warm so it’s not super refreshing- more like playing in a warm bath on a hot day! But every kid I saw was having a blast, and I loved playing here with my kids. It’s beautiful and clean, nice bathrooms and drinking fountains, some shaded tables. No shade over the river. I love that it’s shallow and safe and kept my kids entertained for way longer than anticipated. Very diverse and lovely people that come here!
