In Ketchikan, besides excursions, one of the popular attractions to explore is Creek Street. Once a notorious red-light district, it has transformed into a hub of small, locally-owned shops, museums.
We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Creek Street boardwalk area and especially Dolly’s House museum. The small house is packed with intriguing history detailing the red-light district, prohibition era, and an impressive collection of antiques and vintage items. The host was incredibly knowledgeable and animated, which greatly enhanced our experience, making it one of the highlights of our time in Ketchikan!
