Turtle racing every Friday at 10pm (yes, it’s ethical)—3 rounds of races, free to bet, and winners get $1 beer or cider!! HUGE beer list (48 in total and you can sample before committing). Only 1 size beer/cider, typically $7.5-8. ❌ And they stop selling alcohol early, so no cocktails after 10pm, even on weekends—but I’m guessing this is a state law, so don’t blame Crafted. ✅♿️ turtle races are crowded but the bar itself has a ramp, no step to enter, and bar is on the first floor.
We will return. And the service is fantastic—servers are superb. I only feel bad because I imagine many people don’t tip on their $1 turtle race winning beer, which obviously isn’t fair to the servers.
❌ Turtle races start at 10, end by 10:30 and the bar quickly closes by 11. Wish they started races at 9 or 9:30 and/or stayed open later, running a new race every 30 min instead of every 10. We felt rushed and would have stayed and drank later. Especially if we could have ordered more food because the fries are great!
