Burke Playground is a wonderful two acre spot, formerly known as Clay Place. It was renamed by the City in 1982 for former assessor Richard F. Burke. There is a large soccer field, paved basketball court, permanent restrooms on site and several pieces of playground equipment. The park is enclosed by a beautiful iron fence and has plenty seating. It is also lined with some of the grandest oak trees you may find. A lovely and fun spot to play or sit and enjoy.
