Oh. My. Goodness. I was in Houma to visit another place, and I am so very glad I did. The lady working was very friendly. Admission is $3 cash only. The lady let me do the tour and then go get the money and come back! How cool was that. I offered to go get money before the tour, but she insisted. Such a detailed history of the area. The lifestyle and changes is amazing. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.
