My grandson loves this place. Great climbing area with slides that is sheltered by trees. he sued to play on the other play area, across the park, for smaller kids. The big kid swing are not covered, open to full sun, but baby swings are covered by a tarp. I love the two smaller tables reserved for kids activities, something I have not seen anywhere else. The fountain at the entrance–is it a Lions Fountain or is it a splash pad —or both? This park, except for the big kids swing area, seems to be cooler in temperature than the area outside the park. Free street parking, also free parking in the Hyde Park Parking garage, about 2 blocks away
