I would move to this town for this gym.
Old school. Before the modern big jim there were crazy guys that found enough money, people, time to build gyms by hand.
In the garage, in the warehouse. Whatever. This place feels like that spirit before climbing culture was something you could buy.
It’s a good size. It’s got a work out area. It’s boulder heavy. The top rope setting is bouldery. And the lead had a refreshing snaking traversy route.
If every good town city had a place like this the world would be a better place.
Don’t sleep on stopping by and having a good session. Roped walls are short and bouldery. On ropes it would be nice to have a bit more flow, route density, and a harder grade distribution. But this gym isn’t set for me. I’m sure if I asked nicely they’d work it in the rotation. I’m coming back whenever I stop in town.
