I hope to see this in the spring with all the trees! But this winter was an amazing time to experience the gorge. We had a wonderful time exploring the area and hiking some of the trail. Unfortunately the slipperiness of the snow prevented more exploration, but it was a great place to meet and spend time together.
The view was spectacular, and definitely recommended for anyone who enjoys a short hike, but would also be willing to explore more. Enjoying the hike in the winter was great, I just wish they were blazes on the trails and the trees, so that it would be easier to navigate to the trails.
I definitely recommend traveling here and visiting, especially if you’re close. There’s a lot of things to see and many trails to hike. This specific location was definitely worthwhile.
