Playground at Morrill Park offers an exciting and safe environment with Art & Crafts, Splash Pad, Obstacle Course. A great place for kids and families. Families love visiting for its fun-filled experience.
Lovely new park with lots of grass and trees. Clean, accessible bathrooms near the children’s play area, as well as a large covered area with tables. Loved the wide trail that goes from the parking lot (about 100 spaces, some handicap and a few large-vehicle spaces) to the offleash dog park, on the other side of Merrill Park. The main trails are accessible, but there are smaller trails around too (they’re more narrow, bumpy). It would be GREAT if the city could post something useful on the sign board (currently showing a not-so-useful map of All Kent parks). It would also be helpful to put out some poop receptacles along the trail as a lot of dogs/ owners left gifts hidden in the brush. The dog park is not large but not small either. It features a separate area for smaller shy dogs, plus the main offleash area. Water for dogs provided (thank you!).
