U.S. Space & Rocket Center offers an exciting and safe environment with Zipline, Climbing Wall, Playground. A great place for kids and families. Families love visiting for its fun-filled experience.
This is the one thing that Huntsville is known for. I recommend buying tickets online in advance and seeing a planetarium show while you’re here. For entrance and a show, it was $42 each online. Neat museum with a rocket garden outside. Of course our favorite part was the Saturn V Hall and its full scale replica right outside the window. Lots of interactive exhibits made both for adults and kids. We saw the James Webb planetarium show which was super cool. It was not just a movie but a live astrophysicist guiding us through the presentation. We did not do any of the paid rides but they looked like fun. Overall we spent about 4 hours total from start to finish. Kids could definitely spend way longer here. Definitely a must do if you visit or live in HSV.
