Let's Play Soccer, West Jordan

I have been playing at LetsPlay since it opened and have been coaching here for 5+ years. I can honestly say that over the last four years, Loren, the referees and the facility have really made this place a LOT better.
I currently coach eight teams at Lets Play, two 2011 girls teams, two 2007 teams, two 2010 teams, and two 2006 teams. If there was ever someone that was in a position to leave a review it would be me.
The registration process is simpler, the employees are actively interested in helping to find solutions to scheduling issues and registration issues, but most of all, the referee situation has improved DRAMATICALLY – this is in large part to Sergio and Rocky who are actively involved not only in refereeing but ensuring that other refs are learning and getting better as well. A few years back, this was honestly not the case. The referees were dismissive to issues and did not always prioritize safety. That is not the case at all anymore. I have had several times where Sergio has personally come up to me to explain or apologize for a call that he may have missed or to explain what he saw.
This is exactly what I, as a coach, hope for from a referee. NONE of the referees I have encountered have had an ego and all of them are down to earth.
Especially with the younger kids, my number one concern is making sure they’re safe on the field – the referees do a MUCH better job at this nowadays than ever before. Contact with the walls, which is where a lot of injuries in indoor come from are called tight and I have seen a substantial drop in injuries since the referee pool improved.
Also: Loren, the facility manager personally called me when I had to switch the divisions of two of my teams around, he helped me understand where they should be and immediately addressed my concern.
Again, a few years ago my review would have been different but this place really has improved SO MUCH these past few years and the referees and Loren, and the front desk deserve that praise.
