Metro Verde Splash Pad and Park

The splash pad is well maintained by the city – there is very little shade near it, so definitely think about bringing a tent or stand umbrella. Theres a nice little park right next to it that provides a little shade with a water fountain and some picnic tables. Plenty of parking around the park (street parking). There are electrical lines running overhead – some signs on the grass area about them. All in all it’s a good way to make the most of the heat in the NM summer. (note – there is no restroom at the park)
