The great thing about this trail is the incredible number of places you can go from it. While the first four miles or so are pretty easy and usually pretty crowded with lots of dogs, after the bridge you can go anywhere. Right takes you to leverich. Left takes you to mystic lake, and beyond. If you have the time and perseverance, you could end up at bear canyon or highlight. I would recommend biking, skiing, or running, but if you know what you’re doing, sourdough is essentially the highway to the mountains. Oh and please, call it Sourdough. The creek is Bozeman creek, the trail is Sourdough.
