This is a great place to stop and visit, a lot of the history is displayed, there’s nice benches for sitting, a little promenade over the water, and watching the clean, beautiful water bubble up from the spring is relaxing and nice. Lots of kids and parents visiting, a romantic couple. Dogs on leashes allowed. There’s a ranger shack and it’s next to the fish hatchery, plus there’s a whole lot of rolling lawn park with lots of trees. A great little spot. The secret spot from 40 years ago is now a manicured state park, but it got the thumbs up from a returning local!
