My son and I LOVE this park. We tend to choose days when we know there won’t be too many kids and there’s still always a buddy for him to play with. I really like how well built the playground is. It makes me wish that playgrounds were this great when I was a kid.
This was my first time seeing a shredded tire playground and I honestly thought it would’ve stunk or had sharp edges, but I was pleasantly surprised. The only time I’ve been able to smell anything is during a fresh rain you can kind of pick up the smell of the rubber.
Make sure you come on a day NOT around one of the festivals, because there can be a lot of trash left around the kids park even though the festival park is a bit away. There will be some unpleasantly intoxicated people wandering around from any number of festivals hosted there.
