Excellent for tiny children. Took 2 Littles, ages 2 and 4.
Went to THE PLAYGROUND kids area and the giraffe special exhibit (Dr. Anne Innis Dagg exhibition, which was great but I wish was bigger).
The kids had a blast and it was fun to watch them! Fun intro to basic science concepts for tiny ones.
Maybe not great for older kids.
Was not too busy to enjoy yourself; wasn’t cramped.

Ticket counter staff was friendly and helpful.
We bought tickets upon arrival with no issues.
