I visited this state park the day after Thanksgiving, so it was cold and the beach was obviously closed, but this was still a great state park to experience. There were plenty of piers and other spots on the shore to fish from. The lake was a beautiful blue and clean water. There was a lot of birding activity going on. Plenty of parking. I’d love to visit again in the summer months.
