It’s always fun at “The Walking Bridge”. You can meet a lot of interesting people. We almost always see deer while we are here as well. Children and adults love jumping back and forth between Iowa and Nebraska. This is a nice place for families and for bringing your dog. Everyone I saw picked up after their dog too. So no worries about stepping in any poo.
The playground is fun for younger children. My 3 & 2 year old grandchildren have a blast playing on the pelican. They have plenty of benches to sit on and umbrellas and trees for shade. It’s nice to walk around the square, check out the river and spend a few hours outside. There are restrooms located at the pavilion, but try to bring your own toilet paper because they always seem to be out. But it’s better than a port-a-potty any day.
