A new indoor play place? Right off the Metra stop? Coffee shop next door? Yes, PLEASE! We have had many beloved players places have to shutter their doors. The Hangout in Libertyville is like hanging out in your best friend’s basement where the kids can play. Lots of toys, climbing, make believe, dress up, a place for the littlest ones, couches and chairs for the parents (which I appreciate as a chronically ill mom) make this place exactly what it needs to be. It was warm enough, cozy enough, and just crowded enough. They have a front area for classes and when we attended there was a music class. Purchase of a class also allowed for entry to the play space.
Tips:
Make sure your whole family has socks, standard are fine but grippy sock would be even better.
The slides are FAST. Kids will definitely need a parent supervising.
